MedEssist Deliveries is included in our free plan, which means there’s no monthly fee. Any pharmacy can make a free MedEssist account and have a driver pick up your package within the hour!
You can send either Over-the-Counter or prescription items to patients. You can also send items to another pharmacy or clinic. However, your order cannot include narcotics or controlled substances, or items that require cold chain management. The full list of prohibited items can be found within the MedEssist Deliveries dashboard.
No, neither you or your patients will need an Uber account. Your patients will be sent a text or email link which they can use to track the delivery. You can also choose to pay the delivery or pass it to the patient.
Since patients can track their order, it’s very rare to have an order be undeliverable. If this ever happens, you’ll be notified on the MedEssist Deliveries dashboard and the driver will return the order to you.
